I have always been wanted to try out Kajal's different than the usual black or the super black or the blackest black that we have abundantly these days (Don't get me wrong, for everyday looks I swear by the blacks, but when it's festive time I always want to play with the pop of color in my eyes). So, as these Maybelline colossal shades were going in a 50% off sale, it was my time to test them out.
True Turquoise:
I first bought this color Kohl thinking it would be a royal blue shade (Must have been a 12 pm shopping session I guess, what was I thinking!) But the name of the shade tells it all. It is definitely a true turquoise. The formula is same as the smoked silver and glides on smooth in the eye. It definitely adds a pop of color to your eyes and can be worn complimenting an outfit with similar color palette. Not going to lie, I have got several compliments on wearing this Kohl. I would have loved to try the crushed emerald combination with the true turquoise when you get it as buy one, get one.
Smoked silver:
If you want to create a effortless smokey look within a limited time, I think smoked silver makes the cut. The formula of the kajal is very smooth and glides on smoothly in the eyes. This is more of a night grey shade. The kohl does not smudge for a good 3-4 hours which is a big win if you are wearing it for the festivities.

Recommendation: I would definitely like to give a try to different shades in this Kohl.
What i like about it? It can glam up your face by adding a pop of color.
What I don't like about it? If you want to use it as an eyeliner I wouldn't recommend it as it does not have a sharp edge. So perfect line is a no go with this. But a smoked pop of color is what you are going for, this is for you!
